Kate Penfold
Headteacher, St. Matthew's Primary School
Kate Penfold-Attride is Headteacher of St Matthew’s CE Primary School in Redhill, Surrey. Her school is part of the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education Multi Academy Trust, where Kate has over 20 years’ teaching experience across the primary age range.
For the majority of her time working in education, Kate has been a designated safeguarding lead, and she is proud to be able to share this expertise in supporting Prept.
Kate first came across Prept, then Table Talk, on a rare school night out at a Sussex Showcase event (I know, teachers do not HAVE to live at school!). Kate is passionate about helping children grow up with a positive relationship with food and the confidence to give new things a go.
The rest of Kate’s spare time is spent watching football. You’ll find her at Arsenal WFC games most weekends or following the Lionesses around the country (or abroad) during internationals. Good food and great football, what a combo!
